BARBELL CONDITIONING LEVEL 1
A class focused on mostly barbell exercises to strengthen and condition the musculoskeletal system, improve balance and stability, and improve the cardiovascular system. Each class will consist of up to 3 components: skill acquisition, strength training, and high intensity conditioning.
Barbell Lifting: Squats (air squat, front squat, overhead squat, back squat), deadlifts, strict press, push press, bent rows and more
Pull-ups/chin-ups, handstand progressions, push-ups, sit-ups, jumps, and other Gymnastics: body weight movements
Cardiovascular Training + Other Strength Tools: Kettlebell swings and exercises, dumbbell snatches and exercises, wall balls, assault bike, rowing, skipping, lunges etc.
BARBELL CONDITIONING LEVEL 2
INTERMEDIATE/OLYMPIC LIFTING BASICS
Prerequisites: Must have basic technical knowledge of the barbell squat, deadlift, and overhead press.
Includes all of the movements of a Level 1 Class but also includes:
Gymnastics: Kipping, ring support strength and ring dips, handstand strength and beginner handstand push-up progressions.
Olympic Lifting Basics: Cleans, jerks, overhead squats, and snatches with a focus on power cleans and power snatches; as well as further strength development in the foundation squat, deadlift and overhead press movements with heavier weights.
BARBELL CONDITIONING LEVEL 3
Must have strong knowledge and foundational strength of the barbell squat, deadlift, and overhead press as well as basic technical knowledge of the Olympic Lifts (Cleans, jerks, overhead squats Prerequisites: and snatches).
Includes all of the movements of a Level 1 and 2 Class but also includes:
Gymnastics: Kipping pull-ups/chin-ups, further handstand and handstand push-up progressions, bar and ring muscle-up progressions.
Olympic Lifting: Greater focus on full (squat) cleans and full (squat) snatches and strength development of those movements.
