Boxing

Our boxing class is designed for all levels, whether you’re a beginner or an experienced boxer looking to practice and looking to refine your technique. Each class will include work on building your foundations including: stance, all basic punches: jab, cross, hook, uppercut, bodyshot, footwork, head movement and defence, bag work, and partner padwork.

Boxing Beginner Foundations
This class is designed for beginners with 0–6 months of experience, but it’s also a great fit for experienced boxers who want to sharpen their fundamentals in a focused, controlled environment.

Each session begins with jump rope to elevate your heart rate, followed by shadowboxing to practice essential techniques. From there, we move into structured partner work, which may include pad work, bag work, and basic defensive drills. There is no sparring or face contact in this class, but expect a high-impact, technique-driven experience.

We recommend bringing your own hand wraps and boxing gloves. However, we do have loaner gear available if needed. If this is your first class, please arrive 5–10 minutes early so we can teach you how to wrap your hands and get you oriented with the space.

If you have any injuries or movement considerations, let us know ahead of time.

Modifications and alternative exercises can be provided to ensure you can still participate safely.

Required equipment: Boxing gloves and hand wraps (available for purchase at the front)

​We have some lender equipment for first-timers but you will need your own equipment if you decide to join the class!
