My pal, Joel, recommended Forge about 18 Months ago. I was never much for working out but, at 47 years old, it was starting to show. When I started here, I was weak, a mess of stress, constantly complaining about aches and pains and had low energy. My trainer asked me to take a photo of my body so that I would have proof of my progress. I took that picture but immediately deleted it. I couldn’t bear the bag of soft that was staring back at me.
I can’t say enough good stuff about this gym. The trainers are pros. The members are great. The gym is well equipped and welcoming. 18 months after starting this journey, with a bit of hard work and some expert training, I basically have a perfect body, I am full of energy, my aches and pains are gone, I am the epitome of peace and serenity, and I have made a bunch of new friends. Working out here has made a massively positive impact on my life well beyond looking great with my shirt off.
P.S. It is terribly annoying that I still cannot bench 225, but I suppose it is always good to have goals – maybe next year.
P.P.S. Being the Forge member of the month may be the best thing that has ever happened to me.
