Coming from a decade long professional sports career, sports specific training and Olympic lifting is a big strength of mine. With that being said, I have a lot of general population and rehabilitation clients that I've been training with for many years as well and feel just as comfortable with that now as I do with my athletes. Wherever you're at physically and mentally, I can meet you there and provide you with what you need.
Q. What are your personal goals?
I'm currently training for a charity burpee event that will have me do 1000 burpees in one go which is a little terrifying for me but here we are!
Other than that, my main goals with training are to bulletproof my body after many years of abuse on the rugby/football field and feel pain free, mobile, and ready to do any physical activity without a second thought.
Q. What are your favourite Leisure activities?
Watch movies & play games/board games, cook.
Q. Who is your favourite athlete?
Secretariat. He was the fastest race horse to ever have lived. Watching his Triple Crown run in 1973, and more specifically the last race at the Belmont where he set a record that has yet to be broken is truly inspiring.
Q. Where is your favourite restaurant?
My favorite restaurant in Victoria is tacofino
Q. If you could go anywhere, where would you go?
I'd go to Prague. I've been lucky enough to travel all over the world with sport, but I've never made it back to Prague as a lot of my extended family are from the Czech Republic.
Q. Fun fact about yourself?
When I was little I always wanted to be a fire truck.
